Screensharing with Join.Me

Eastern Standard uses the Join.Me service for screensharing.   It allows for real time demos and debugging.  Join.me is used as a screen-only sharing tool, it is not a full-packaged web-conferencing tool, and you may need to call the other parties to talk through the presentation.

INSTRUCTIONS TO VIEW ONLY:

  1. For users who don't need to present/share what they are exhibiting on their devices, you can sign into a screenshare session from any web-browser at https://join.me.
  2. In the Meeting / Room ID field, type in atEasternStandard
  3. Once the host starts the session, you may see a link enttiled "knock to join".  If you do, click that to request permission to join the presentation.
  4. After you've been connected to the presentation, the browser should refresh and display the presenter's screen(s).
